All the sculptures are made of bronze using the ancient "lost wax" technique.

First the sculpture is crafted as a one of a kind original in wax as can be seen above by the wax horse head. Wax is invested into a plaster mold and hardened. Later the wax is burned out of the mold and molten bronze is poured into the empty spaces left in the plaster mold.

Once the bronze has cooled the mold is broken away. Saws, hammers, chisels, grinders, files, wire wheels, heat, and sandblasting along with chemicals produce the final product. Various materials are selected for bases.
